Stop-loss at the exchange
Your exit order waits at the exchange, not on our computers.
This is the most important protection in TraderOps. Your stop-loss is a real order resting at the exchange, so it can still trigger even if our software, your internet or your laptop goes down.
Two stops, always
A resting stop at the exchange is your safety net. On top of it, TraderOps watches every price tick to tighten (trail) the stop or apply your conditions. In normal times the tighter one acts first; if we are offline, the exchange stop still protects you.
It survives failure
The exchange stop keeps working through an engine crash, a restart, a network loss, or overnight — the times when software usually lets you down.
Checked against your broker
Every 30 seconds TraderOps compares its own records against your broker’s and flags anything that doesn’t match, so a stop is never quietly missing.
Start with free paper trading
Run your strategy in paper mode for a week with no money at risk. It uses the same engine and the same rules as live trading, so you can check that it behaves the way this page says it does.
